It's been a busy week for the Trump International Hotel Washington DC, a renovation of the Old Post Office. First it was announced that BLT Prime was slated to take over a tentative foodie spot (essentially a project which had been abandoned by both José Andrés and Chef Geoffrey Zakarian for reasons likely unnecessary to state again.)

Now word is out, via Washington Business Journal, that Zakarian is countersuing the Trump organization in response to the lawsuit levied against him by the same group. Zakarian says it wasn't him that breached the contract — it was in fact the presidential candidate's controversial statements that were a "breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing."
