BETHESDA—Taste of Bethesda, the annual food event scheduled for this weekend, has been canceled due to the predicted terrible weather and will not be rescheduled. Thanks Joaquin! [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL—It's mussel month over at French bistro Béarnaise. For all of October, the restaurant is offering one of eight types of mussels, with frites, plus salad and sweet for a fixed price and both lunch and dinner. [EaterWire]
