Todd English's on-again, off-again flirtation with D.C. continues.
The celebrity chef is shopping around for sites for Todd English P.U.B., a restaurant concept he owns in D.C. According to an email blast from Miller Walker Retail Real Estate, the chef is actively seeking locations between 4,000 and 6,000 square feet in size with traffic seven days a week.
His pub concept in Vegas features a raw bar, grill and bar, plus pub-style fare. There's even beer pong. There's a location in Birmingham as well. And if you can chug a beer in seven seconds there, it's free.
English has had a presence in D.C. before, including a former location of Olives (which was located where P.J. Clarke's is now). He is affiliated with MXDC downtown, though the particulars of the relationship have been a little fuzzy over the years.
