Sushiko owner Daisuke Utagawa has always been a fan of the combination of sushi and burgundy wine. Now, after several years working to get exclusive wines from France into Montgomery County, he'll get to introduce customers to the pairing.
The restaurant is debuting a new Reserve Burgundy Wine list, to be enjoyed with the restaurant's omakase menu. Utagawa, who hosted a high-end wine dinner earlier this year highlighting the combination, selected each of the wines himself, and certain vintages pair particularly well with certain dishes. A copy of the wine list, which has offering ranging from $65 per bottle to $375, is below.
