It actually happened. Ray's Hell Burger officially made its debut in D.C. proper last night in the CityVista development.
The restaurant serves up the same burgers Arlington residents have come to love, with names like The Mack and The Funky President. The restaurant also serves up two types of chicken sandwiches (a monster-sized one that bears resemblance to an Indianapolis pork tenderloin sandwich, and an "angry" spicy chicken sandwich). They have tater tots and shakes, too.
The no-frills decor is very similar to the other burger spots that have existed over time in the Ray's empire. Status: Certified open. 449 K St. NW; website.
