Soup Up opens its doors in Bethesda today. The restaurant also has a location at Union Market.

The soup bar has seating for 46 people, including a mezzanine level. They'll add a patio in the spring. The location is in the Peripoint Building.

Unsurprisingly, soups are the focus here. Menus change weekly, with seasonal offerings like island-style fish soup, cream of roasted pumpkin and cashew chickpea with shitake mushroom. They also serve salads, spring rolls, mini-cornbread loaves, desserts, coffee and juices.
