Jerry Zawacki is the new chef at Petworth Citizen.
The chef has recently worked as a pastry chef for New York's Del Posto. He has also spent time in the kitchens of Mockingbird Hill and Rose's Luxury.
At Petworth Citizen, the chef plans to focus on vegetable-heavy dishes and seasonal desserts. Some of his new menu items include a pan-seared octopus with split pea falafel, slow-cooked acorn squash with brussels sprouts and pickled apples and mulled wine-poached figs with bay leaf pudding and hazelnuts.
