Ocopa, H Street's modern Peruvian restaurant has a new chef.

Yuki Nakandakari has taken the gig. The native of Peru most recently worked at Pisco Restaurant in Elkridge, Md. He also worked in Tokyo during the 1990s.

The restaurant will be adding some new menu items from the chef over the next couple of weeks. The items will be a bit more traditional. They'll launch brunch in early December.

Nakandakari replaces opening chef Carlos Delgado.
