Happy Trucksgiving

The D.C. Maryland and Virginia Food Truck Association is taking the idea of a canned food drive a bit further. They'll be collecting donations of canned foods at various locations throughout the week. But on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 5-10 p.m., food trucks Captain Cookie and The Milk Man, Sloppy Mama's and BBQ Bus will be transforming donated food items into signature dishes. "It's a pretty fun idea," said spokesman Che Ruddell-Tabisola. A portion of proceeds from the event will go to Food & Friends.

The beer is being made

As 7 Locks Brewing starts inching closer to an opening later this month, they've got one important step taken care of. They've started making beer. [BM]

Gluten-free alert

Takorean has tweaked its menu with one important change. They now offer gluten-free items.

Sobering up

So just a few drunk (and perhaps some sober) Halloween revelers ended up at Wiseguys for pizza Saturday.

Halloween Night! Hat's of the our crew, it was just crazy none stop.
