1) Oyster Riot

What: Old Ebbitt Grill is hosting its 21st annual oyster riot, which is always held the Friday and Saturday before Thanksgiving. Guests can indulge in all the wine and oysters they can handle. Tickets ($140 each) and more information are available here.

When: Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

2) Beaujolais Nouveau release

What: Bastille is offering several specials to pair with Beaujolais Nouveau. Dishes include red wine braised rabbit over pasta, mushrooms and root vegetables ($29) to complement a bottle of Manoir du Carra’s 2014 Beaujolais Village Nouveau ($35).

3) Beefsteak Takes Over Pepe Food Truck

What: Beefsteak by José Andrés is taking over his Pepe food truck and heading to the Dupont Circle farmers market. It will serve samples of the fast-casual restaurant's fall menu including the beetsteak sandwich and  carrot miso soup.

When: Sunday at 10 a.m.

4) Winter Lounge

What: Enjoy warm winter cocktails by the fire pits on Poste's patio. Chef Kyoo Eom has also created free s’mores kits with graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows. Find information here.

When: Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.

5) UnCorked!

What: Taste small production wines by local and international winemakers. The event benefits The Neediest Kids organization. Tickets ($250) and more information are available her.
