1) NO LOCATION YET: The team behind Rasa Italian Grill, a fast-casual Indian restaurant, is hunting around for locations. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

2) SILVER SPRING: Sligo Cafe is closed for a couple of weeks (as of this weekend) and will emerge as a new concept when it is through. [POST-PLYWOOD]

3) ARLINGTON: Arlington is getting a location of Richmond-based Sugar Shack doughnuts on Columbia Pike (there's also one locally in Alexandria). [PLYWOOD]

4) MOUNT VERNON TRIANGLE: A restaurant called Shouk from founder Ran Nussbacher will open this spring at 613 K St. NW. A spokesman did't have much to say about it, but noted it will be fast-casual and "challenge the notion that food is either good or good for you." No information about what they will serve was available. [PLYWOOD]

5) UNION STATION: Charleys Philly Steaks will serve up cheesesteaks in the Union Station food court. It's a chain. [PLYWOOD]
