Marble and Rye Brings More than 150 Whiskeys to Arlington

Arlington gets a new whiskey bar, as of today.

Marble and Rye is a new bar and restaurant from chef Kate Bennett. The menu is American, with an emphasis on wood-fired dishes like pear and bleu cheese pizza, quinoa cakes, steaks and a bison burger. Here's the full menu.

Of note: the bar has more than 150 whiskeys (with several cocktails involving brown spirits). They plan to highlight them during a "whiskey Wednesdays" promotion. Owner Doug Baj is also a partner in RedRocks Pizza. Status: Opening today. 2501 Columbia Pike, Arlington, Va.; website.
