Austin's VertsKebap is Headed to D.C.

Austin fast-casual restaurant VertsKebap has eyes on Washington.

The Mediterranean chain, which has 26 locations in Texas, is planning a general East Coast expansion. Boston, D.C. and New York are the target markets, though no specific sites were mentioned in a press release. Between 5 and 10 locations will open next year on the East Coast.

The expansion comes courtesy of $20 million in funding for the restaurant group. They serve wraps, kebaps and salads, all customizable.
