PENN QUARTER— In its ongoing coverage of the fallout from the salmonella outbreak linked to Fig & Olive, Washington City Paper reveals the restaurant has since raised prices on nearly every menu item. [WCP]

VIRGINIA— Brandon Williams is now head chef at Bottle Shop Wine Bar in Occoquan. He previously spent four years as sous chef at Brabo in Alexandria. [EaterWire]

SILVER SPRING— Quarry House Tavern and Kefa Cafe will soon return to their original locations reports Washington Business Journal. Last March, a devastating fire destroyed the building that housed both businesses. There's no word yet on the status of Bombay Gaylord, the Indian restaurant also displaced by the fire. [WBJ]
