1) WHEATON: Sports bar chain Bar Louie is opening at Wheaton Plaza, according to the East Moco blog. They're known for their tots, and have a pretty extensive presence in the greater D.C. area. [PLYWOOD]

2) GAITHERSBURG: Boca Botanas Tapas Bar is bound for 239 Muddy Branch Road. A mid-December opening is the goal. [PLYWOOD]

3) ATLAS DISTRICT: Pronto Taqueria is coming to the space where The Spot deli used to be. [PLYWOOD]
