Fall is always busy season for D.C. restaurants and this year was no exception. Eater counts at least 70 local restaurant openings that happened around the area this fall.

There was no lack of marquee openings, either, with such debuts as Convivial in Shaw, Momofuku at CityCenterDC, The Dabney from Jeremiah Langhorne and many more. The current Eater Heatmap gives a good capsule of the hottest places on the scene right now.
