Kimpton's Morrison House hotel in Alexandria is undergoing a multi-million renovation, which means they're nixing The Grille and replacing it with a new restaurant.

The hotel will close between February and April to allow for the changes. The Grille will permanently close on January 18 so a new restaurant can take its place.

The new restaurant offering will have 70 seats, a new culinary and bar team, and a new space within the hotel closer to the front of the building. The hotel has not released the name or many specifics about the new destination.

Changes to the hotel itself are being made as well.
