It's opening day for Texas Jack's, Arlington's newest barbecue joint.
The restaurant will offer traditional barbecue dishes like brisket, short ribs, pulled pork and sausage — as well as less conventional dishes like beef cheeks and Jerk goat. The international influence on barbecue in other cuisines will also be highlighted.
Here's a tour of the space, designed by Akseizer Design Group, LLC. The restaurant is from executive chef Matt Lang, as well as partners Steve Roberts and Paul Capetanakis.
