Four tasting menus at a new restaurant sounded like an ambitious move. And it's one Arlington restaurant Secret Chopsticks is scaling back on, at least for now.

The restaurant has changed formats and is offering a single tasting menu instead of four, which incorporates elements from each of the previous menus. They're also offering a la carte items throughout the entire restaurant instead of just the lounge. The tasting menu is $89 and can be customized for vegetarian diners, too.

The restaurant found many diners weren't looking for a tasting menu-only experience every night of the week, according to a rep. They may reintroduce the multiple tasting menus in the new year if there is demand for it.

A la carte items on the menu include such dishes as lamb buns, shrimp dumplings, braised tofu skin and poached pork meatball. Several items on the tasting menu, like Gong Bao shrimp and steamed Chilean sea bass, can also be ordered a la carte.
