The next place to serve uber-trendy bone broth in the D.C. area isn't a health food restaurant — it's a hot dog joint.
Haute Dogs and Fries in Alexandria and Purcellville is partnering with Fields of Anthenry Farm to sell their version of the dish. It's enhanced with cider vinegar and other spices.
Haute Dogs will offer a couple sizes for dine-in, as well as bone broth by the quart for takeout. Pricing information wasn't immediately available, though Eater has reached out for more details.
Other recent adopters of the bone broth craze include Brookland's Halsa restaurant and Red Apron Butchery in Penn Quarter.
