Opening Report: Chicken Rico, Stella Barra and Hemibry Catering

1) NoMa: Yesterday was the scheduled opening day for the Chicken Rico location opening in D.C., according to the restaurant's website. They serve up Peruvian chicken dishes. A phone number for the store isn't listed, but Eater has reached out via email to confirm the doors opened as scheduled. Status: Scheduled to open. 77 H St. NW; website.

2) Woodbridge: Northern Virginia Magazine has a blurb on  Hemibry Catering and Deli, a new Latin American restaurant. The Venezuelan spot is from a married couple in the catering business, and improbably, the pair now gets to spend more time together now that they have the restaurant. 3) North Bethesda/Rockville: Stella Barra, the second restaurant from chef Jeff Mahin, has opened at the Pike & Rose development. This is a pizza restaurant adjacent to the company's Summer House Santa Monica. There are also small plates, salads, cocktails and more. Status: Opening today at 5 p.m. 11825 Grand Park Ave.; website.
