Peter Chang’s Rockville Restaurant Reportedly Won't Open Until Spring

Chef Peter Chang's new restaurant in Maryland is one of Eater's most anticipated openings of 2015, but looks like the wait will be a bit longer than hoped. Bethesda Magazine reports that the restaurant has hit unexpected delays due to the permitting process in Montgomery County.

Instead of opening in the first quarter of 2015, the new opening date is slated for mid-April. Construction is just beginning now, Chang’s business partner Gen Lee tells Bethesda. Eater learned earlier this month that Chang's Rockville restaurant will be joined by another Chang restaurant in the Washington suburbs: the chef hopes to open a venue in Arlington soon.
