1) Noma: The pop-up  beer garden opening in Noma this spring is going to be called Wunder Garten, District Cuisine reports. An April opening is planned. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

2) Ivy City: Seafood distributor Profish will open a restaurant called Ivy City Smokehouse this spring. Going Out Guide says the location at 1356 Okie St NE will also have a market and aims to serve items like smoked salmon and whitefish. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

3) Shaw: The fast food Chinese restaurant named Chao Ku is coming along, and aiming to open at 1414 9th St. NW, PoPville reports. Here's their Kickstarter page with more info. [PLYWOOD]

4) U Street: Cloak and Dagger, a spy-themed speakeasy, is slated to replace Patty Boom Boom [PLYWOOD]

5) Mt. Pleasant: Purple Patch, a Filipino restaurant, will replace Tonic, according to Going Out Guide. [PLYWOOD]
