Manhattan comfort food chain Melt Shop opens its first location outside New York today, with a location on L Street NW. See Eater's tour of the fast-casual space, where Melt Shop will serve up grilled cheese sandwiches, burger melts, chicken club sandwiches, tomato soup, salad, milkshakes and cheesy tots. Melt Shop DC will be open seven days a week serving lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. And on opening day, Melt Shop will offer all menu items at half price.
