There's a Craigslist ad looking for workers at an Arlington restaurant.

First Rockville. Then Arlington?

Peter Chang: Arlington-bound? Washington Business Journal spies a Craigslist ad which indicates the chef (who has a massive cult following for his spicy cuisine) is hiring for an Arlington restaurant.

The ad is for a restaurant in Arlington's Lee Harrison Shopping Center (which currently houses a Harris Teeter and Taqueria Poblano, among other tenants).

A broker for Chang tells WBJ the lease has not yet been signed. Peter Chang already has plans to open a restaurant in Rockville early this year. Eater has reached out to the chef's reps for any additional details.

UPDATE: Sounds like just about everything's in place for the Arlington restaurant — except a lease. The manager of the upcoming restaurant, Chuck Yee, tells Eater via email that the restaurant "could open anytime after the landlord has signed [the] lease. It will take some time to change the restaurant signage, and it will be a soft opening (transition) until we officially put up our own sign."

"We are excited to be back to NOVA," said Yee. "Peter has moved to the area, he will mainly concentrate his effort in the up coming Peter Chang in Arlington & Rockville. He's really excited to reunite with his foodie fans in NOVA."
