.It's opening day for the latest location of Family Meal, Bryan Voltaggio's diner-ish concept, this time located in Ashburn.
The restaurant serves classic dishes like meatloaf and fried chicken, and is adding new menu items with each location (another recently opened in Baltimore). Bryan Voltaggio told Eater he's particularly excited about such dishes as a pepperoni-spiked burger and clam chowder bites (not unlike his pot pie fritters at the original).
This is the closest Family Meal to D.C., and Voltaggio has plans to continue to expand the restaurant in the suburbs. A location is also close to opening in Richmond.
