Peter Chang's upcoming Arlington restaurant will be a little different than what his acolytes might be expecting. Tim Carman reports the restaurant bound for a shopping center in Arlington will be a fast-casual operation.
The restaurant, which is supposed to replace Oriental Garden (lease negotiations are still pending), will be called Peter Chang Wok and have a smaller menu.
Two reasons for the decision: Chang's restaurant coming to Rockville (now shooting for an April opening) will be more of an upscale operation, and they're also hoping to open a flagship restaurant in Navy Yard.
