The U-Haul has been unpacked, bistro lights strung and a dining room begins to take shape in what you once thought was only an old factory in the Warehouse District. Members start to pile into a location they only got the day before and are ready to dive into a culinary adventure sitting beside 120 other curious strangers of mixed ages and backgrounds.
This is Dinner Lab: the social dining experiment that takes chefs from every corner of the kitchen and gives them a shot at being head chef for the night. They don't dictate what the chefs cook, but instead ask them to tell a story through their menu — recipes that speak to their background or heritage, ingredients they're passionate about, or completely new dishes they've been experimenting with on days off. The menu is then battle tested by diners who provide actionable feedback to help the chef refine their craft.
Further, the cuisine, venues and patrons are constantly in flux, so each Dinner Lab exists for one evening only.
Their next dinner in DC is on March 11, so don't miss out. Become a member today and receive $20 off of your first Dinner Lab.
