Think spring — The Occidental announced the opening date of its patio today, and the outdoor space will reopen March 16.
With it comes a new menu from chef Rodney Scruggs. He'll be serving dishes like a Swordfish BLT and a poached eggs benedict. Many of the dishes will incorporate dishes from the restaurant's garden.
The Occidental's patio tends to be a big hit with tourists, given its proximity to the National Mall and the White House.
