D.C.'s upcoming-except-they-don't-have-a-lease-yet cat cafe, Crumbs & Whiskers, is hosting a party this Sunday to mark the official launch of its Kickstarter campaign. But there won't be any cats at the party.

Penn Social, which is hosting the gathering, doesn't allow them, according to founder Kanchan Singh. Attendees will, however, enjoy drinks, a goofy video, cat stickers and more. Here's the page for the event.

Crumbs & Whiskers is aiming to be D.C.'s first permanent cat cafe. There was a pop-up one back in December unaffiliated with Crumbs & Whiskers.
