No More Knots: Pizza Parts & Service Has Closed

Yesterday, Pizza Parts & Service sent out a tweet saying, "Friends, we're closed right now. More info coming ASAP."

Unfortunately, It seems that "right now" means "indefinitely." Taylor Gourmet's Casey Patten and David Mazza confirmed to Eater via email that the pizzeria has closed. Patten and Mazza wrote in a statement:

Pizza Parts & Service is closed. We'd like to thank H Street NE for the love and support. While we'll miss slices and garlic knots, we're really, REALLY excited about who is taking over the space. The neighborhood is in very good hands!

Pizza Parts & Service opened in April 2014, taking over the space from Steak & Ice, Taylor Gourmet's cheesesteak concept. It was one of D.C.'s few options for pizza-by-the-slice. There are no plans to reopen it elsewhere, according to a spokesman.

Now the mystery is who will open in 1320 H Street NE next.
