Jeff Tunks Gets His Own Oyster at DC Coast

They're calling it "The Big Daddy."

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Jeff Black has one. Jamie Leeds has one. And now Jeff Tunks is getting his own signature oyster at DC Coast.

DC Coast chef Miles Vaden convinced Hollywood Oyster Company to create a signature oyster for the restaurant. Its name is a funny reference to chef Jeff Tunks (who is 6'3, but has lost more than 100 pounds in the past couple years).

A press release describes the oyster as oversized and sweet. It can be found at DC Coast, PassionFish, District Commons and Penn Commons.
