Some GW Students are Getting an Early Look at Beefsteak

The restaurant has been inviting them in to taste-test the menu.

ThinkFoodGroup has been inviting George Washington University students in for an early taste of Beefsteak, José Andrés' upcoming vegetable-centric fast-casual restaurant.

A spokeswoman for the company confirms they've been testing operations with the school. The first location of Beefsteak, which the chef hopes to expand elsewhere, is located on GW's campus at 22nd and I Sts. NW.

The restaurant is targeting a late March or early April opening at this time.
