D.C.'s battle for the Prince of Porc resumes for another year on March 22.

For this year's Cochon 555, chefs including Spike Mendelsohn (Bearnaise), Victor Albisu (Del Campo), Jeffrey Buben (Vidalia), Danny Lee (Mandu) and Jonah Kim (Yona) will compete against each other for the title (the winner goes on to compete against other regional winners for a national title).

It all takes place this year at Union Market. The event ($125 general admission) also features a Rioja wine tasting, a Mezcal bar, oysters and caviar, a punch competition (in the V.I.P. area) and much more. There's a chef's dinner scheduled for Friday at Birch & Barley, too. Details here.
