1) Spice Dinner at 2941

2941 Fairview Park Drive Falls Church, Va.

When: Sunday

What: NYC Spice Master Lior Lev Sercarz of La Boîte is back for his third spice dinner. There will be wine pairings and dishes like queen's pudding with lemon custard and cavatelli pasta with braised duck leg bolognese. More info here.

2) Cheese Party at Right Proper

Where: Right Proper Brewing Company

624 T St. NW

When: Sunday at 1 p.m.

What: Right Proper will host Ripe, an artisanal cheese event, connecting diners with cheesemakers. Tickets are $25. More info here.

3) Easter Cooking Class at Black's

Where: Black's Bar and Kitchen

7750 Woodmont Ave. Bethesda, Md.

When: Saturday at 11 a.m.

What: This class will emphasize wine-pairing, lamb making and more. Cost is $75; reservations are required.

4) Cochon 555

Where: Union Market

1305 5th St. NE

When: Sunday at 5 p.m.

What: A major line-up of D.C. chefs, from Spike Mendelsohn to Danny Lee, will compete against each other to be crowned Prince of Porc. More details here.

5) Cochon Pre-Gaming

Where: Bluejacket and Del Campo

When: Friday and Saturday

What: Two D.C. restaurants have special events in association with Cochon. Friday, Kyle Bailey hosts a Chef's Course dinner at the Arsenal. On Saturday, Victor Albisu of Del Campo is hosting a large-format dinner.
