After raising nearly $27,000 and counting on Kickstarter, D.C.'s cat cafe project Crumbs & Whiskers just cleared another hurdle.
Crumbs & Whiskers was granted a zoning exemption today, founder Kanchan Singh tells Eater. "We are still working on ironing out some lease terms, but hope to sign the lease shortly," she wrote via email. Here's a photo of the location that Crumbs & Whiskers has been eyeing in Georgetown, located at at 3211 O St. NW.
We hear @Crumbs_Whiskers is officially approved to operate in this O St space (w/cats!) http://t.co/eB5P6lrExC @wusa9 pic.twitter.com/YTk6Gl7tKN
