Neighborhood Restaurant Group just announced a brand-new outdoor event this spring from their wine, beer and spirits experts. ABV is happening on Saturday, May 16 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Canal Park. It sounds like it's going to be an epic day drinking event: there will be seven craft cocktails and small batch spirits, 20 different wines and 35 craft beers on offer.

All the drinks are chosen with spring in mind by Neighborhood Restaurant Group's Greg Engert, Jeff Faile and Brent Kroll. Faile is going to pick spirits and cocktails that play off the flavors of gin and agave, while Kroll's picks will include dry Rosé. For the beer selection, Engert will help debut new collaborative ales and rare selections from Bluejacket and brewers across the country.

For food to go along with the drinks, Red Apron's Nathan Anda of Red Apron is going to serve bar snacks like smoked brisket and smoked pork shoulder sliders, crispy chicken wings, and chili lime pork rinds. Chef Rob Rubba from Shaw's upcoming Hazel is also serving steamed buns. Expect lawn games like cornhole and croquet too.

There will be two ticket options in advance for ABV. A $65 ABV ticket includes admission and a passport for 10 pours while an $85 VIP ticket includes admission, a passport for 10 pours, a branded wine glass and access to the VIP lounge. Admission at the door will be $20, and additional drinks and food will be available a la carte. Click here to buy tickets in advance.
