Yet another distillery will open its doors in D.C., this one above Atlas Brew Works.

Young & Hungry reports Joesph A. Magnus & Co. (named after a pre-Prohibition distiller) will open sometime this year. Among those involved: Brett Thompson of Pork Barrel BBQ, former Woodford Reserve distiller Dave Scheurich, American Distilling Institute director of research Nancy Fraley, Richard Wolf, formerly of Buffalo Trace.

Given the resumes of those involved, it seems likely they'll make bourbon, but they're keeping their plans under wraps for now.
