Today in questionable publicity campaigns, PoPville reports that someone appears to be protesting the impending arrival of a Subway sandwich shop in Mount Pleasant by projecting a poop emoji onto the storefront.
Those against the development are also responding with a "#subwayeatshit" hashtag campaign in response to the store's arrival.

Subway is expected to open at 3174 Mt. Pleasant St. NW. Eater has reached out for any comment from the sandwich chain.
