Jo-Jo Valenzuela IN at Brine

He'll run the beverage program at the Mosaic District restaurant.

Brine has hired a beverage director. Bartender Jo-Jo Valenzuela tells Eater his first day at the upcoming Mosaic District oyster bar is today.

Valenzuela, who has worked at such places as Gypsy Soul and City Tap House, will oversee a beverage menu with a slight French influence.

Brine, where John Critchley will be as chef, is expected to open in early spring in Mosaic District.
