U STREET— Bistro la Bonne has closed for renovations. PoPville reports they're going to reopen with a "new look and theme" on May 1. [PoP]

PENN QUARTER— What would Christina Tosi serve the President and First Lady if they came to her upcoming CityCenter location of Milk Bar? "I would serve them tri-star strawberry sorbet, celery root ganache, Ritz cracker crunch, and lovage," she tells Capitol File. CLARENDON— Oz is a new Australian restaurant in store for Clarendon. Washington Business Journal reports it comes from developer Michael Darby and his wife, former Miss D.C. Ashley Darby. It's where La Tagliatella used to be. [WBJ]
