PoPville reports a Richard Sandoval restaurant is not coming to Shaw as originally planned.
A rep confirms that the project is no longer happening at that location. Sandoval, who operates several restaurants in D.C., including most recently Mango Tree in CityCenter, has El Centro locations in Georgetown and Logan Circle. The restaurant was going to be casual Mexican.
