Traditional Italian fare returns to Mike Isabella's 14th Street restaurant G during the evenings after Jonah Kim's Yona pop-up wraps up on May 2. G had previously served only a $40 four-course tasting menu at night. The restaurant now plans to introduce a la carte options in addition to that menu, starting next month.
The new menu won't launch until May 6. It includes fresh pasta dishes like duck egg ravioli and sweet pea tortellini along with antipasti, second courses, side dishes, and desserts.
Both the tasting menu and the a la carte menu will be available Wednesday through Saturday nights. G will continue to serve sandwiches during the day and its Sunday Gravy meals each Sunday night.
