D.C.'s Momofuku Will Have Room for Up to 300, With a Possible Patio

PoPville spies a liquor license application for the Momofuku restaurant coming to CityCenterDC. The application reads:

"New Restaurant serving Asian-style cuisine. Total occupancy load is 300. Sidewalk Café with 70 seats."

Update: A spokesperson for Momofuku notes the number of seats for the restaurant has not been finalized, nor have plans for a patio.

Momofuku is coming to 1090 I St. NW, though representatives have declined to reveal any major details about the project, including a name or a projected opening date. Pastry chef Christina Tosi has predicted a summer opening for neighboring Momofuku Milk Bar.
