Bar Civita Lines Up a Bar Manager and Sous Chef

Bar Civita, the new Italian restaurant opening in Woodley Park from former Liberty Tavern chef Liam LaCivita, has lined up a bar manager and sous chef.

Running the drinks end of the equation: Jamie Johnson, who formerly worked at such restaurants as Pesce and Acadiana. Additionally, Justin Singer, formerly of Liberty Tavern, Lyon Hall and America Eats Tavern, will serve as LaCivita's sous chef.

Bar Civita is close to opening at 2609 24th St. NW this spring.
