1) Hill East: A new pizza place will open at 1422 Pennsylvania Ave .SE, according to Capitol Hill Corner. It will serve New York-style pizza. [PLYWOOD]

2) Shirlington: An art-themed restaurant called Palette 22 will replace Extra Virgin in Shirlington, according to ARLNOW. This is the space that La Tagliatella was eying at one point. [PLYWOOD]

3) Bethesda: Yet another location of Paisano's is opening. This one's going into 4914 Del Ray Ave., Robert Dyer notes. [PLYWOOD]

4) Ballston: "Coming soon" signage is up for Yona, Jonah Kim's Ballston restaurant opening this summer. His pop-up is still running over at G Sandwich. [PLYWOOD]

5) Bethesda: Doughnuts for Bethesda? This Craigslist ad is looking for a pastry chef and partner for a combination coffee and doughnut shop, though no address is given. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

6) Mt .Vernon Triangle: Looks like there is finally some movement on the Texas de Brazil location bound for the old Buddha Bar space. PoPville says they're now hiring and a liquor license application is up. Signage promises a summer opening. [PLYWOOD]
