Pinkberry's Arlington location at 2930 Clarendon Boulevard reopened yesterday. The frozen yogurt shop's employees told ARLNOW the storefront was sold to a new franchisee at auction.
It had closed last December (along with other D.C. area stores) after the local franchisee filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection. A company spokesperson told the Washington Business Journal in January that they considered D.C. to be a strong market, so the reopening isn't a total surprise.
Eater has reached out to Pinkberry to see if any others locations have opened or will reopen in the area.
