The Italian Store's second location in the former 7-Eleven in Westover soft-opened yesterday. A manager at the original location says the deli and shop is now officially open to the public, starting today.
The Westover store carries coffee and gelato in addition to the pizzas, hoagie sandwiches and Italian gourmet ingredients popular at the first location. The new store isn't fully stocked yet, though, and some of the employees are still in training.
The long-awaited Westover location had been in the works for over a year.
