Graffiato's Jersey Shore Menu; Mark Bittman Visits Izakaya Seki

VIRGINIA—Governor Terry McAuliffe has lifted a ban that kept food trucks from operating on certain state-maintained roads in Virginia. They'll still have to deal with local regulations, though. [via Washingtonian]

U STREET— New York Times writer and author Mark Bittman takes a visit to D.C.'s Izakaya Seki. The place introduces him to ara yaki, or roasted fish scraps. [NYT]

PENN QUARTER— Next month, Graffiato will have a Jersey Shore menu, courtesy of Mike Isabella's Jersey roots, for a week in June. Kicking off June 8, they'll serve up dishes like disco fries, strawberry prosecco shaved ice and mini lobster rolls. There will be beachy cocktails to match; available both for lunch and dinner.
