Frederick-based Flying Dog Brewery has canceled plans for an experimental brewery in Loudoun County.
In a statement, the brewery said that the cancellation was due to "recent developments" but didn't elaborate. Eater has asked for any further details on why the project, which was to be located on the 53-acre Shadow Farms in Lucketts, Virginia, was put on hold.
In a statement, Flying Dog exec Ben Savage said, "We remain excited about a farm brewery concept, and we are still very much interested in developing the Farmworks concept if the right opportunity presents itself."
Plans for the project were revealed back in December.
